The fictional novel follows the life of Jordi McCormack telling the story of his many failed interactions with women during his life. 

     He lost his first love when she dumped him a week before high school graduation.  He never recovered.  His parents died the summer before starting Stanford University.

     At Stanford he lost his second love when she was murdered by her ex-boyfriend.

     In his frustration, he pursues relationships through email to women in Russia.  It's an idea that comes to him after another failed relationship, but he uses the women to feed his battered ego.  He tries hard to be the guy a woman wants to spend her life with, but he finds a way to put himself in an awkward position.
